Vishu is a Bachelor of Commerce Co-op Student majoring in Accounting and hoping to minor in computer science at Dalhousie University. He is currently completing a work term in Audit at KPMG and has had experince in Accounts Payable. He has also worked with Sam as a part of her marking team and various other projects. He is a huge football (soccer) fan and likes to learn about tech when he is not working.

Naomi Richards (she/her) is a Master of Information student at Dalhousie University. She has worked with Sam as a research assistant and in a grant writing capacity. She graduated from UBC with a major in Biology and a minor in Classical Studies, and worked in the chemical regulations field prior to going back to school. Outside of school, Naomi likes to read, knit, dance, and travel; her favourite city is Edinburgh Scotland where she lived for 8 months.

Ishita Parmarthi is a driven Commerce Co-op student at Dalhousie University, majoring in Accounting and aspiring to become a CPA. Since Fall 2023/2024, Ishita has been an integral member of Sam's awesome marking team. Ishita has cultivated a robust foundation in assurance services through three successive co-op experiences at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She enjoys listening to music, cooking up tasty dishes, expressing creativity through art, and spending quality time with friends and family. On sunny days, you'll likely find her exploring nature and hiking along scenic trails.

Bre is a Dalhousie Commerce student majoring in Accounting and minoring in Indigenous Studies. She continues to work on various projects with Sam and was part of Sam’s Marking Team in the Fall Term of 2023. Bre is excited to complete her first work term in Audit and Assurance at Deloitte, Halifax. When she isn’t studying, she is most likely listening to music, playing volleyball, or painting and creating art.

Suvojit Dutta (or SD) is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce candidate graduating April 2024. He has been part of Sam's awesome possum team since August 2022. He has worked for a few financial institutions including RBC investor services & MUFG investor services. In his free time, he loves to play video games and read tech journals.

Chezarina is a 2023 Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Accounting graduate from Dalhousie University. She's been on Sam's content creation and academic team since the summer of 2022. While at Dalhousie, she has worked as a TA, a marker, and a mentor through the DalComm Society Mentorship Program. She also completed a co-op at KPMG Lower Gulf in advisory and two at PwC Halifax in audit, where she will be returning in the fall of 2023. In her spare time, she likes to go out and try new food, go on a drive, watch some Netflix, and most importantly, catch up on her sleep.

Emma will be graduating in June 2023 with an Accounting major and Computer Science minor. Emma took part in Sam’s marker team in 2022 and did her co-ops in banking and private accounting. She loves to matcha, doing yoga, and hiking

Emmanuel is a 2023 Dalhousie Accounting Grad. He has been a part of Professor Taylor’s marking and content development teams since Fall 2022 and has completed co-ops as a Tax Analyst at Deloitte and Tax Intern at PwC. In his free time, Emmanuel enjoys playing the piano, vibing to music, running and pretty much anything outdoors. He’s also a huge fan of spicy food!!

Janine is a Master of Information Student whose passion lies within public libraries, in particular newcomer services. She worked this past summer in multiple public library branches and is a teaching assistant for Information in Society within the School of Information Management. She loves to read, run, and try new restaurants in the city.

Poppy Riddle is a PhD student researching information retrieval, visualization, and human-computer interaction at Dalhousie University. She is an alumn of Dal’s School of Information Management masters program in 2022. She loves roller skating, curry, and a nice cup of tea.

Terry is a 2021 Dalhousie Accounting Graduate and current CPA Candidate. He works as an Associate Auditor at Emera (Halifax) in Internal Audit. Completed co-op terms included KPMG and Emera. Terry’s been part of Sam’s marking team since Fall 2019, member of her CPA Canada NMC Hotline Team in 2020. Outside of work and studies, Terry is a competitive powerlifter and coffee aficionado.

Emma is a 2021 Dalhousie Accounting Graduate. She works for Grant Thornton in audit as an accountant where she completed her first co-op and is currently a CPA Candidate. Previous co-op terms were with Marsh and CPA Canada. She worked with Professor Taylor at CPA Canada and the Rowe JDCC accounting team. In her spare time, Emma is an avid hiker, skier, and reader.

Kate is a 2019 Dalhousie Accounting graduate and has worked as a member of Sam’s marking and CPA Canada NMC hotlines teams. She recently passed the CPA CFE and works as a senior in EY Halifax’s audit practice.

Keshav is a 2021 Dalhousie University Accounting graduate and completed his GDA with Queen’s University in 2021. He is a CPA candidate, an Associate with PwC in Halifax, NS and works as a Content Developer and Podcast Producer on Sam’s team.

Thomas is a 2021 Dalhousie Accounting Graduate (Economics Minor), and current CPA Candidate. He is a Domestic Tax Analyst with Grant Thornton LLP in Halifax. He has been a part of Professor Taylor’s CPA NMC (Capstone 2) team in the summer of 2020 and ran PennyDrops Financial Literacy during his time at Dalhousie. Thomas is a Dalhousie Rugby Alumni, avid cyclist and a World War II history buff.

Ana is a 2021 Dalhousie University Accounting graduate and completed her GDA with Queen’s University in 2021. She is a CPA candidate, an Associate with Grant Thornton in Saint John, NB, and is the Teaching Assistant for Intermediate Financial Accounting II.

Bryce is a 2018 Dalhousie University (BComm, Accounting) and works as a Consultant with Baker Tilley in Halifax, NS. He has been both a teaching and research assistant, and developed and reviewed material for Cost Management, Intermediate Financial Accounting II, and Advanced Accounting II.

Xilu is a 2022 Dalhousie University Accounting graduate. She will be pursuing her CPA, CFA designations, and MAccFin degree with the University of Toronto starting in May 2022. She completed her first two co-op terms with Interuniversity Services Inc. for contract management and the third co-op term with MUFG Services Inc. for investor relations. Xilu has been a part of Sam’s marking team since 2022 and is a photography lover, dog lover, and traveler.

Ryan is a 2022 Dalhousie University accounting graduate. He is a CPA candidate that will be working with KPMG in their audit department in Calgary, AB. He was a part of Sam's marking team for Cost Management.

James is a 2019 Dalhousie University Accounting Graduate. He worked in Business Development for Clearco (formerly Clear Banc) and LevelJump in Toronto. James worked with Sam’s CPA Canada NMC Team in 2019 and 2020 as a Communications Specialist, and also provided contact design services to visualize candidate performance metrics. Currently, he is pursuing the Professional Architecture Program at Dalhousie University. In his spare time, James enjoys cooking, traveling, and skiing.

Alex is a 2021 graduate from Dalhousie University completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). He will be pursuing his CPA designation starting in January of 2022. Alex currently works for Peters & Co Limited in Calgary, Alberta, and completed co-op terms with ADP Payroll, MUFG Investor Services and The Co-operators. Alex worked with Sam’s team at CPA Canada’s National Marking Centre in 2020. Alex enjoys playing competitive hockey as a goalie and is a die-hard hockey fan.

Maddy is a 2019 Dalhousie University Accounting graduate who completed the GDiPA with the University of Toronto in 2019. She is in the process of obtaining her CPA designation, after completing all her experience with Ernst & Young in Halifax. Maddy has been a part of Sam’s marking team and loves dogs (she has rescued 3!).

Nicole earned the University Medal in Commerce when she graduated from Dalhousie University in 2020. She currently works as a Staff Associate with Ernst & Young in Halifax, NS, and is pursuing her CPA designation. Nicole developed and reviewed materials for both cost management and financial reporting technical topics, and worked with Sam as Senior Analyst for CPA Canada’s NMC Team in 2020.

Sara is a 2020 Dalhousie Accounting graduate and current CPA candidate. She works as an auditor at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in Halifax. She has completed various co-op positions at the CRA including liaison officer and collections contact officer. Sara was a member of Sam’s CPA Canada NMC Hotline Team in 2020.

Jonathan is a 2020 Dalhousie Accounting Graduate. He has been working with Ernst & Young in Calgary since October 2020 as an Audit Staff, and is a current CPA candidate. Jonathan initially worked two co-op terms in accounts payable before completing his third co-op term in Summer 2019 working for CPA Canada. Jonathan managed many of the administrative operations of CPA Canada's National Marking Centre working together with Samantha. Outside of work, Jonathan is passionate about cryptocurrencies, spikeball, and weightlifting.

Tenaj was a member of Sam’s CPA Canada NMC Coordination Specialist team in 2020, is a 2021 Dal grad.

Yuhui was a member of Sam’s marking team and graduated in 2021.
